Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

Packaged Solutions Group Ltd is fully committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chain. We take our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 seriously and work continuously to promote transparency, accountability, and ethical practices throughout our operations.

Although we are not currently required to make a modern slavery statement or policy under the Act, Packaged Solutions Group has chosen to voluntarily comply. We believe it is incumbent upon all organisations to play their part in tackling modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to operating with integrity and social responsibility in all aspects of our work.

Our Business

Packaged Solutions Group Ltd is a UK-based environmental services company providing sustainable solutions across waste and food surplus management, recycling, secure destruction, resource recovery, and biotechnology research and development. We work with a wide network of suppliers, partners, and subcontractors, all of whom are expected to share and uphold our commitment to ethical and responsible business conduct.

Our Approach to Modern Slavery

We recognise that modern slavery can take many forms, including forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, and exploitative working conditions. At Packaged Solutions Group, we are committed to identifying, addressing, and mitigating any risk of these practices within both our internal operations and our external supply chains.

Policies and Commitments

Our approach to modern slavery is guided by a range of policies and practices designed to ensure that all those working for or with us are treated with dignity and respect. We require all suppliers to adhere to a formal Supplier Code of Conduct that outlines expectations regarding compliance with applicable labour laws and international human rights standards. We also apply due diligence procedures to assess and monitor the risk of modern slavery within our supply chain.

Employees and stakeholders are supported by a clearly communicated whistleblowing policy, which provides safe and confidential channels for reporting unethical or unlawful conduct. Furthermore, we continue to deliver training and awareness programmes to relevant staff, ensuring they are equipped to identify and respond to potential signs of modern slavery.

Risk Assessment and Management

Packaged Solutions Group undertakes regular assessments to evaluate the risk of modern slavery within its operations and supplier relationships. We pay particular attention to sectors, geographies, and services that are known to be at greater risk of labour exploitation. When risks are identified, we take immediate steps to address them through contractual requirements, direct engagement with suppliers, or escalation to senior management as necessary.

Approval and Review

This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It will be reviewed annually and updated as required to reflect the development of our approach and the progress we continue to make.
